Diletta Longhi

Diletta Longhi was born in Lecco in January 1995.

She grew up immersed in music thanks to her father, who always played for passion, and her mother, a great music lover.

She discovered her passion for singing at the age of 13, when she began singing in her village's competition choir.

In 2013, she became the vocalist of an acoustic duo, specializing in [genre of music], with whom she would collaborate for several years.

From 2016 to 2018, she attended the annual workshops of Circle Songs (circle choral improvisation, a practice invented by the well-known jazz musician Bobby McFerrin) directed by Serena Ferrara. She also began her academic studies in Parma in 2016.

She gained valuable orchestral experience singing in the 'Mefisto Ensemble' (jazz orchestra of the A. Boito Conservatory) and in the 'Chironomic Orchestra' (Conducting Orchestra, extemporaneous musical composition) both directed by M° R. Bonati. With the latter formation, she participated for three years in concerts of the 'Parma Frontiere Jazz Festival'.

In 2017, she began collaborating with the project "Cartoons," a musical theater show for children. She performed with the show from 2017 to 2022 at the Ridotto del Teatro Regio di Parma and for the 'Parma Frontiere Jazz Festival'.

She earned her diploma in Jazz Singing from the A. Boito Conservatory of Parma in July 2019.

In November of the same year, she began a two-year master's program at the N. Piccinni Conservatory of Bari, which she completed with the highest honors in 2022.

She started collaborating with Nicola Scagliozzi (her artistic and life partner) in the acoustic duo 'NiDi di Note'.

Also in 2022, she recorded her debut album, 'Diversity,' at Nightingale Studios. The album features eight original songs arranged by N. Scagliozzi and produced by Birdbox Records.
