Born in St. Albans (Hertfordshire, UK) in 1965, Pericle Odierna completed his musical education in Italy at the State Conservatory of Music in Salerno. There, he graduated in clarinet under the guidance of Maestro Salvatore Angrisani and pursued advanced studies in composition with Maestro Gianni Desidery. Between 1992 and 1993, he attended the C.P.M. specialization courses in Siena, alongside several seminars dedicated to chamber music ensembles. An eclectic multi-instrumentalist, he has always balanced his career as a performer with his work as a producer and composer, writing for cinema, television, theatre, and prestigious concert series. Over the last twenty years, he has significantly intensified his work in the field of cinematic soundtracks.

His solo and live project "Experiences" has been showcased at major festivals—including Atina Jazz, the Avellino Conservatory, and in Naples, the latter featuring a special appearance by mathematician Piergiorgio Odifreddi—and was released by Heristal Entertainment. For the same label, he composed the work "Pinocchio e la sua favola" (Pinocchio and his Tale) for narrator and orchestra. The piece was included in the repertoire of the Fanfare dell’Arma dei Carabinieri (The Carabinieri Band) and, specially orchestrated by the author for this ensemble, was performed in Florence, Collodi, Brindisi, and in Milan for the opening of the 2021 season at the Teatro Dal Verme. Also of note is the "Concerto Fotogramma", a selection of Odierna's film scores performed by the composer himself as a soloist, accompanied by the Milan Carabinieri Band and the COF of Milan in July 2022, on the occasion of the Estate Milanese at the Castello Sforzesco.

In July 2021, inside the Pantheon in Rome, his work specially composed for the "Nuova Orchestra Scarlatti" received its world premiere to mark the feast of St. Benedict, Patron Saint of Europe.
