
3. REFUND AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY
3.1 Right of Withdrawal and Seal Integrity
Pursuant to Art. 52 of the Italian Consumer Code, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods. However, given the nature of high-precision phonographic products (Vinyl, CDs, Master Tapes), this right is strictly conditional upon the integrity of the original seal.

Exclusion from Withdrawal: Pursuant to Art. 59, letter i) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for the supply of sealed audio recordings that have been opened after delivery. Once the protective film (shrink-wrap) or the security seal is removed, the product is no longer refundable or replaceable, as it is deemed "used" and cannot be resold as new.
3.2 Digital Products (Download and Streaming)
The Customer acknowledges and agrees that the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content provided on a non-tangible medium (Download or Streaming).

Forfeiture of Right: Pursuant to Art. 59, letter o) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal expires the moment the download or streaming of the purchased file begins.

File Integrity: No refunds are issued for correctly provided digital files. In the case of corrupted links, Bird Box Records will provide a new access link following technical verification.
3.3 Manufacturing Defects and Reporting Deadlines
Should a physical product show evident manufacturing defects not attributable to the handcrafted nature of the work or to transport, the Customer must—under penalty of forfeiture—submit a formal report no later than 48 hours after receiving the goods.
The report must be sent through one of the following legal channels:

Email: Writing to sales@birdboxrecords.com (it is mandatory to attach photographic or video documentation of the defect).

Registered Mail (A/R): Sent to the registered office: Bird Box Records S.r.l.s., Strada di Montevenere 10, 00018 Palombara Sabina (RM), Italy.
Bird Box Records reserves the right to inspect the goods upon return to confirm the nature of the defect. In the absence of a report within the specified timeframe and through the methods mentioned above, the product shall be deemed definitively accepted by the Customer.
3.4 Costs and Return Procedures
In the event of an authorized withdrawal (product still perfectly sealed):

Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Customer, who remains liable for the integrity of the goods until they are received at our facilities.

Condition of Goods: The product must be returned in its original packaging. If the goods are returned damaged or unsealed, no refund will be issued.

Refund Method: The refund will be processed within 14 days of receipt and verification of the goods, using the same payment method chosen during purchase (PayPal, Stripe, Credit Card, or Bank Transfer).
