IONIZING ANTI-STATIC TREATMENT

The Invisible Protection

The greatest enemy of vinyl isn't just dirt, but static electricity. A statically charged record acts as a magnet, attracting airborne dust particles and locking them deep into the grooves. This phenomenon is often the primary cause

of those annoying "clicks" and "pops," even on discs that appear perfectly clean.

The Milty Zerostat 3™ Protocol at BBR

At our Clinic, we do more than just clean the surface. We utilize the piezoelectric technology of the Milty Zerostat 3 to neutralize the record's electrostatic charge through a controlled flow of positive and negative ions.

Why is this step essential to our process?

Pre-Cleaning Decontamination

By neutralizing the static charge before the hydro-mechanical cleaning, we allow professional bristles to penetrate deeper, releasing dust that would otherwise remain anchored by molecular attraction.

Post-Drying Stabilization

Mechanical vacuum suction can sometimes generate new static charge. Our final treatment "resets" the record, making it electrically inert.

Protection During Flattening

Before placing the record into the ORB or Furutech units, the ionizing treatment ensures that no environmental particles are attracted and "sealed" into the vinyl during the thermal cycle.
