BBR Space Light Color Vol. 1 • 45rpm Reference Grade Test Pressing Edition – First Galvanic Growth (20 Copies)

This limited edition features the 20 official Test Pressings derived from the First Galvanic Growth. These are the very first copies ever pressed, produced while the galvanic masters are at the peak of their structural integrity, ensuring unparalleled groove purity. Compared to the standard run, these Test Pressings offer the most faithful and dynamic version of the original lacquer, captured before the natural production wear could alter even the slightest detail of its micro-definition.

This work represents a true test pressing, an exclusive technical document and a piece of history from the creative process. As a tool intended solely for acoustic evaluation by the Sound Engineer, the focus is placed entirely on the absolute fidelity of the audio signal. Minor physical irregularities or slight undulations are to be considered inherent characteristics of a 'raw' pre-production medium, bearing witness to the authentic artisanal journey that precedes the final pressing; and now, you too can benefit from the same listening experience as the producer or sound engineer.

Sustainability and Performance: 140g Bio Vinyl

The chosen medium is 140g Bio Vinyl, pressed at Optimal Media GmbH. This solution combines environmental consciousness with an extremely quiet and dense compound, essential for a Reference-class listening experience.

Why 140 grams? The choice of precision.

In a Reference Grade production, every detail must serve the sonic performance. The choice of the 140g format is not a compromise, but a precise technical decision linked to Optimal’s pressing quality:

Thermal Stability:

A 140g disc cools more uniformly and rapidly than a 180g one. This process allows the Bio Vinyl compound to stabilize perfectly, eliminating the risk of material micro-shrinkage that causes surface noise.

Transient Response:

Thanks to the density achieved with 140g pressing, the vinyl delivers a faster and more precise response, fundamental for capturing the dynamic details of our full-analog mastering.

Technology and Format

The 45rpm format ensures maximum dynamic range and spatial resolution free from saturation. The first-stage galvanic process allowed every detail of the analog mastering to be transferred onto vinyl, eliminating the duplication steps that typically increase floor noise.

      Capolavoro
